..political orientation than mine, and your perspective of reality is different as a result. Mine is based, not unlike that of the overwhelming majority of Israeli Jews in Israel, not on quotes of US presidents but on daily reality, on encountering it in the streets of Israel. When our neighbors choose to elect a government that calls for our annihilation, both orally and in writing, when it behaves this way, when, as in very recent survey in the territories 75% of Palestinian Arabs responded that Israel had no right to exist and they'd rather see it disappear, when they support acts of terror in Israeli streets, when their strongest organization both politically and militarily, Hamas, refuses to accept signed agreements and to recognize Israel's RIGHT - not only fact - to exist, one opens one's eyes to reality. If you do not see this reality and prefer to listen to Bush, of whom I am sure you are critical on other issues, as we say in Hebrew, yevusam lekha (enjoy the smell).
