Israel should took responsibilty for this and move on. I live in the US, but I am amazed at the almost universal theme on this board, that the tragic deaths of children and women in Qana (repeat of 1996) are (a) Hizbollah`s fault, (b) justified (c) necessary (d) brave, despite universal condemnation. The terrifying thing is,Israelis seem to listen only to each other! You have lost touch with reality. However, reality exists, independently of your perceptions. Israel has come a long way, with enduring peace with Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, and should learn to handle occasional interruptions to that peace; such as a lunatic kidnapping or periodic border skirmishes. These are common on other "hot" borders in the world, e.g. in Kashmir. However, Israel reacted as if they were itching for a fight and looking for ANY excuse to destroy Hizbollah-controlled Lebanon. Of course, the US supports its ally. SO: celebrate the peace, learn to sustain it, and drop the victim complex.
