Do you think Israel would have wanted to become so diplomatically isolated, to see its key ally the US going bankrupt, Mubarak gone from power or the Palestinians about to win international endorsement for their drive for statehood? The problem with the arrogance and blind faith of those who believe that in a 2-sided conflict one side holds all the cards and will continue to do so is that they have no fall-back plan when this position starts to unravel. I believe history might well show that the Bibi government would have achieved much more for Israel if it had negotiated in good faith a 2-state settlement rather then appearing to believe - like the poster - that nothing can change unless Israel decides to make concessions.
