    "On the assumption that there is no misuse or abuse of these operations, this is what you would expect the NSA to do..." Have you been living in OZ? What you fail to grasp is that that revelation of government abuse of power to suppress and intimidate opposition groups, individuals and press, has lately been demonstrated in spades. And now you ask us to believe that these same authorities are only going to use this immense power to 'protect us' from terrorists? Yah, and I have a bridge you might want to buy too... And you are really disconnected if you think that its young liberals who are upset by the privacy intrusions. The under 40's mostly cool with anything this administration does, and they don't know liberty from off the shelf coffee. Its mostly older conservatives that see where this is leading and trying desperately to put on the brakes. Today's security is tomorrow's Gestapo. And Judging by the IRS, the DOJ, and the NSA, tomorrow is already here...
