Morsi was building confidence with the world in his first year, thats all, but the economy was crumbling apart, and he'd soon enough have resorted to more fundamentalist populist policies as both distraction from economy and just showing his true face. The assignment of the new Governor in Luxor is example enough how much he 'appreciated' foreigners, and how he thought of rebuilding the tourism sector.
