shlomo, a true leftist doesn't adopt a single mindset. That's an oxymoron, considering that to be left = liberal = free thinking. As in true Judaism, we are taught to question even the most well accepted teachings and teachers. Even if you know something to be true, once openly questioned, you can deeply understand a belief. To accept Armageddon, or any other prediction or tale, as you do when you believe we'll get there, leads me to believe you're a bit gullable. Don't buy their or anyone else's prophecies without deeply questioning them. By the way, what will happen (an invitation to your prophecy here) when you meet God and he (or she, or they, or it - you don't yet know either) turns out to be an intellectual tyrant of the left? Hmmm...I think God would want us all to be respectful of each other's beliefs and work together to make the world a better place; not celebrate our joint commitment against intellectual tyranny of the left. So, be yourself, shlomo; question, really question, find the way to convince those who hate you that they shouldn't because we want to make the world a better place. Don't give them ammo to hate more.
