No matter what way you bloody slice it, the whole thing boils down to this: Hamas are animals. They intentionally murder innocent civilians to further political goals. The Arabs VOTED THEM INTO POWER. We might be numbing ourselves to the suffering of the Gaza Arabs but only because the majority of us have figured out that they brought it on themselves (plus they are our enemies). I realize that it is a leftist knee-jerk reaction to feel (and peddle) guilt over any "tragedy" (*wink wink*) occurring in your vicinity but I'm still reeling at the gall of Mr. Issacharoff of creating the sentimental platitude of Arab civil war Vs. rises in the stock market. YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT THAT'S ALL WE CARE ABOUT!!! I look out for me and my own and if the Arabs (of all people) decide to kill each other in Sudan, Iraq, Lebanon, Gaza (much as they have been doing for as long as anyone can remember) or my local bloody convenience store, as long as the Dollars flow my way, I could care less.

Why we don't know how to pick our leaders

Our craving for ideology means that we are partial to ideological leaders. But we need leaders who will make smart decisions that are aligned with the public interest.
