This is NOT extremism, it is moderation! The Haredi public are becoming more moderate, and willing to move slowly into higher education. This must be welcomed and encouraged. If the high priests of secularism do in academia what Lapid and Co have done with the army, they will stop this process dead in its tracks. Whether or not you agree with the Haredim, the road to integration cannot involve the forcible abandonment of their communities beliefs and ideals. Attempts to do so will provoke a backlash which will move all of us twenty years backwards.
