You might learn a little about the physiology of mammalian response to CS exposure. The literature is easily available. CS generated by thermal grenades is capable of causing death, but only in densities over time which are impossible to achieve under the conditions at Bil'lin. Amongst the physiological effects of CS in incredibly high doses are inflammation and damage to the alveolar capillary membrane resulting in edeema, emphysema, hemorraghes and atelectasis resulting in suffocation and death. These effects require concentrations so high as to have been impossible in the open with a breeze. The tear gas could have had a role in the woman's death, but it could not have been the primary cause.
