How often do we hear from the Arab camp that Jews have no real connection to Jerusalem? They're newcomers. They're really Khazars. It's always been Arab, and so on. Well, if Arabs want respect for their attachment to Jerusalem, they should be willing to respect Jewish connection to it. If Arabs want to deny the validity of Jewish attachment to Jerusalem, then their own attachment is equally worthless. After all, it's just dirt and stones, and dirt and stones only have meaning if you put it there. Sharing Jerusalem means that you respect the Other and their identity. If Arabs and their supporters are not willing to respect Jewish identity and attachment, then why are they entitled to any respect for their own identity and attachment.
