And there's pretty much no chance of Turkey joining before the Cyprus issue is resolved. And even if that were to happen today Turkey still has years of work before it has reformed its institutions so that it fulfills the requirements for joining. So yeah, the same Europeans who want to influence the occupier of Cyprus to end that occupation and conform to a more open and democratic society.
