"Hamas doesn't have Gazans' best interests at heart", When you talk about Gazans' increasing bitterness against the organization, I believe, one must ste that notion in a specifically Arab and Palestinian collective psyche. It's not "liberal vs conservative" as in the USA or "green vs capitalist" as in Europe. It is a malleable, paradoxical, emotional thing, full of contradictions and double or triple loyalties. Palestinians and Arabs in general have that way of relating to things. The personal, the tribal, the factional, the national, the pan-Arabic, the Moslem... and these things are myrred in flagrant contradiction. One thing can turn those polls or "pervasive sentiments" around very quickly. If you were a Gazan, what would you feel Hamas being?
