    Israel did not accomplish its goals? 1. At the time, there were daily missiles landing in Israeli cities to the north. Since the 2006 exercise, there have been none. 2. Hezboolah operated freely up to the Israeli border and continued to attempt soldier kidnappings and firefights. Since the operation, Hezbollah was not allowed to operate south of the Kidron border. They probably do now but it is covertly and not open. There have been no firefights or attempted kidnappngs since the operation. 3. Hezbollah was revealed to be a terrorist organization and received condemnation from the UN. Thus they lost support from some organizations around the world. While it was far from a perfect operation and some of the gains have subsequently been lost, you are totally wrong in saying that Israel "lost". In the 21st century, it is quite disingenuous to speak of who won and who lost. You have to look at what was accomplished. You are merely grandstanding and demonstrating your bias. Take a valium and relax.
