Netanyahu language (" the phenomenon directed against Israel and the Jewish people ") is perverse. The truth is that the world is NOT fed-ud with the Jewish people at all and a large majority of the world is in favor of Israel inside its true borders. A very small minority considers Israel is not in favor of the state but considers it a fact of life that doesn't need any "delegitimization" any more. The world IS fed-up with the cruel occupation of Palestine and the arrogant behaviour of the Israelis in defending this occupation as something justifiable. We all know it is NOT just, so why pretend? To equate criticism of the cruel occupation with delegitimization of Israel and even equating it with anti-semitism has always been the Israëli tactic of getting support from US Jewish communities and shutting up non-Jewish western societies. But that is about to change: the world, including the US Jewish community is starting to see that occupation and oppression are not things you consider part of the democratic zionist concept and that stealing land and oppressing people is actually the complete opposite of what Judaism stands for. In fact, anyone (like me) convinced of the beauty and truth of the basic concepts of Judaism should be against this stupid and violent occupation. It is actually a very un-Jewish thing to do.
