The beauty of the democratic political system is it allows people to not only have disenting opinons, but to express them freely. Through the discussion and analysis, the wings get tempered. Israel is in the unique position of having virtually every other country hate it. They have the UN that helped create Israel, but now it wants to take cripple it. No other country that has won wars has been asked to give back land. Yes, Israel acts against those who oppose it. Yes, Israel does things that seem aggressive. Clearly though, the preemptive strikes have saved lost of lives. I personally have no problems with them. Enemies are at the gates. Waiting was not an option. Mr. Levy has every right to oppose the actions. He also has the right to leave Israel. I'm sure he would find a very nice home in Gaza, Tehran, or Mecca. Lots of people would agree with his opinion in those places.
