Yossi Beilin has listed the missed opportunities for establishing a peace in ME. But he has not listed the objective factors working against numerous agreements in the past. I doubt that the non-left population has less desire to achieve a peace in ME than the left-wing. Weakness of left-wing is in ignoring objective factors working against the stable peace. One of the grave mistakes is ignoring a growing Hizbollah military wing in Lebanon supported by Iran, taking idealogical direction against the USA, UK and to all Western civilization. A lack of an ective deep analysis of our time is typical of Yossi Beilin, this is why his writings, though well presented language-wise, can be characterized as populistic as well as childish.
