I don't have a magic solution, and I also was a strong backer of the Oslo accords, and voted Meretz. The difference between Yossi Beilin and myself is that I am not a politician. My mistaken beliefs don't cause people to die. His did and I believe that he should be made to pay the political consequences. The other difference is that due to what has happened here over the past 4.5 years my views have changed. After the Palestinians were offered a state by the the most leftist Israeli government they will see, and instead of accepting it, replied by their actions that they don't want a state, they want to kill Jews, my beliefs have changed. Pretending that nothing has happened here over the past 4.5 years and not facing the truth will not lead to any kind of lasting solution. You can't force the other side to make peace with you.
