As well as being sad you are totally wrong and misguided. Europeans are generally very knowledgable of the root causes of the conflict unlike the yanks, who are totaly under the thumb of the pro Israel lobby and the fundamentalist Christians. The overwhelming majority of Europeans believe Israel to be a terrorist state. The collective punishment and the targeted assassination by Israeli death squads are seen as a true reflection of belligerent Israel. I doubt it very much that you have been to any Arab country but anyone who has will be able to see that the Palestinian cause is the corner stone of every Arab society. 97% of Egyptians would love to kick out the Israeli ambassador and declare Camp David null and void. The same desire applies to the Jordanians who were never consulted by their respective regimes before concluding treaties with Israel. As for your supposed familiarity of US economy, I think it is just as poor as your knowledge of ME history.
