One major thing troubles me about Yoel's articles. He is so often right, and yet no Israeli politicians ever listen to what he is saying. Four soldiers sleeping in their tank in Kerem Shalom! Turning a blind eye at the Northern border when Hizbollah has cameras on the fence itself watching how you brush your teeth! Having advanced anti-terrorist electrical fencing yet selling it abroad and not using it on your own border. These are the things that suggest we Israelis have become too fat, lazy and slow. Did nobody tell us that 'one gram of prevention is worth 100 kilos of cure?' Now we have three two huge and highly expensive military operations on our hands - in Gaza and in Lebanon. Yes, military heads should roll - but they won't. Maybe some good will come out of all this finally. Meanwhile, Yoel, keep up the good work!
