And Israel was doing fine in a much tougher circumstances back then. Of course it makes sense for like minded nations to support each other when facing a common enemy. But your claim about "without US support there will be no Israel" is completely baseless and false. You basically don't understand the motivation of Israelis. These people have been persecuted and exterminated around the world for a long time, they finally managed to create a home for themselves, they have nowhere else to go. They will defend this home no matter what. They simply have no other choice. And defeating people with that kind of motivation is next to impossible. Even with a much larger armies.
