I am sure Yigal Arens doesn't see any contradiction between being a true and proud Jew on the one hand and commitment to justice, decency and human equality, on the other. In fact, I can dare say that Yigal Arens represents the essence of true Judaism, the Judaism that teaches that "don't do unto others what you wouldn't want others to do unto you...".... I am also sure 100% that Yigal Arens is far closer to the essence of the Torah and the Ten commandments than those fanatical bearded settlers who think they have a monopoly over God....and who steal Palestinian olive crops in the name of Torah...and who poison Palestinian sheep in the name of the Torah...and who do every conceivable act of abomination in the name of the Torah. As a non-Jew, I know very well that I and my family can sleep quietly and safely next to a neighbor like Yigal Arens. This is not the case with neighbors like Moshe Livinger, Yigal Amir, Baruch Goldstein, Noam Fidderman, Baruch Marzel, Uzi Landaou and the violent fanatics of Gush Emunim who breathe hatred as often as they breathe oxygen.
