Alisa, I have to say that I don't agree with the wording "you religious freaks". However, although cutting off a boy's forskin may not exactly be a "disfigurement", it certainly is bodily harm and surely an irreparable one at that. Furhermore, whether or not a boy later in his life feels he has been deprived of an important - or at least not completely expendable - part of his body, is not for others to determine. It is his body and thus his choice, and his choice alone. There are a lot of muslims and jews who later in their lifes do not disagree with their parents having made this choice for them and also did not experience any Trauma - or at least they do not speak about it. But for everyone who either has experienced Trauma or just wants to decide himself whether or not a part of his body is cut off, this is good news. Physical integrity is - and will always be - a human right.
