This is exactly what Hamas wants; Israeli retaliation in order to draw world sympathy to their attention. You see, Hamas has economic sactions placed against them, therefore, they need to appear as victims rather than aggressors, so they launch a few meaningless rockets against a couple of Jews scattered about like cattle - WHY? They know the Israeli reponse will target them and hence inadvertantly affect the civilian popualtion. This ladies and gentlemen is how Hamas fights. They launch rockets behind civilians and use little children as scouts in the field. Essentially, in Natalies mind...everybody except the Jews are allowed to defend themselves and only Jews must be held accoutable for their actions. By the way Natalie, if Israelis aren't preparing for war, than they're inviting death...deterence is the only method enemies know, why do you think that Mexico hasn't launched an attack against the US to reclaim its territory, particularly the one you are living in :)

Why we don't know how to pick our leaders

Our craving for ideology means that we are partial to ideological leaders. But we need leaders who will make smart decisions that are aligned with the public interest.
