Israel did not start the war. It was started when Hezbollah militants violated every Lebanese and international law by attacking a sovereign country within its borders. The continued to rocket Israeli towns and target Israeli civilians. The choice was Hezbollah's. The orders were given in Tehran with Syrian assistance. Everyone knows that. Iran is interested in keeping pressure of its nuclear programme and Syria wants the focus to shift from the murder of Hariri and other anti-Syrian Lebanese. Israel responded within its right. Too bad the politicos held back the IDF from finishing Hezbollah, whose leaders hid behind women's skirts the entire conflict.
