In times past people were referred to 'descriptively', without any negative connotations, as white or black (weis or schwarze) & now Kushim (land of Cush). It all depends on the context. Similarly calling someone a Jew, or for that matter a goy, can be positive, negative or just neutral depending on the context. I guess I can be called racist when making an observation that someone I see is Indian/Asian/Oriental. Racists use such terms in a pejorative context, but equal villains are the phony sanctimonious liberals trying to smear anyone, for their own purposes, who would utter those words in whatever innocent description they are used.
