Gaza, where Jews had developed world class agricultural establishments unequaled anywhere, and beautiful residential developments, - was totally evacuated by Israel in September 2005 in pursuit of peace. They were all trashed within twenty-four hours. The deveopments and installations were destroyed, plundered and looted for materials by people who wanted and still want anything but peace and independence. These things mean nothing to the Arabs of the area. There cash reward for sixty-two years has come from the agencies of the UN. This would stop if Palestinians or Gazans were independent, if they grew their own food, built their own houses and educated their children beyond "Hate the Jew" classes paid for with US and EU funding. And of course lessons in firing rockets: 11,000 were fired at Israel immediately AFTER the last Israeli left Gaza. This is "peace" Gaza -style. But you are right in one area: Israel will not make the same mistake again.
