Not in Israel though, but in Turkey. I was going to the bakery every morning and not knowing the coinage was extending my hand with coins and the baker was picking some. After 2 days I learned which coins I should use and was putting it myself on the counter. It was working splendidly until I met a Dutch girl working as a nurse in a local hospital for turists.Seeing how much I was puting she explained " But you're paying 3x the price !"-to the obvious irritation of the propriator and the clients sipping cofee in the bakery. It was really a few bobs only ,prices are so low,but the very idea foreigners are considered fair prey to be exploited is disgusting.
