"He [Obama] challenged them publicly, which means they now have to go home and face the people that they represent about the opportunities of peace versus the risk of not taking action." Netanyahu faces absolutely NO challenge from any "Israeli peace camp", because that camp amounts to exactly two people: Gideon Levy. Uri Avnery. "He added that he believes both parties desire peace" Then. He. Is. Fooling. Himself. Netanyahu represents a coalition of right-wingers who want the land but who do not want the people living on that land. They would love to get that land ***and*** have peace - sure, who wouldn't - but if they have to choose then they will choose the "land-grab option" above the "land-for-peace option" any day of the week. THAT'S WHY NETANYAHU WON'T FREEZE CONSTRUCTION.
