"We must be clear and tell them that, if that's the route they choose to take, any unilateral declaration on their part will be countered by declaring our sovereignty on all 'C' Areas," And that will change things.... how? Nobody - absolutely NOBODY - would recognize that annexation, and all those "annexed" areas will simply take on the same status as East Jerusalem. Remind me again how many countries recognize Israel's annexation of East Jerusalem? "referring to those which, according to the Oslo Accord, are in full Israeli civilian and military control." Yeah, that's O.C.C.U.P.A.T.I.O.N. The annexation of occupied territory is illegal, and if a Palestinian declaration of independence is recognized by the UN then Israel will be attempting to annex the sovereign territory OF A SOVEREIGN STATE. Saddam Hussein tried that stunt in 1991, and if I remember correctly it ended rather badly for him.....
