Are you actually suggesting that as long as Hamas rockets and mortars don't result in human casualties, there should be no response?? If that's your position, would you then support that, were they to kill 8 or 20 Israelis with one of these mortars you'd support a severe response? This is madness. So, Hamas should not be penalized for shooting badly? No other society would tolerate this. Far from being an apologist, I am simply pointing out that attacks on "old" not-"Occupied" on the "correct" side of the 1947 Partition Line are Acts of War and merit a response. The timing, dear Yaakov, is being controlled by the Hamas provocations; not the retaliations.
