Yaakov, I don't see Lieberman as a person who will decide how the dispute with the Palestinians will be resolved. He is an extremist, and may not even be a member of the peace government in Israel. (Note that Peretz said yesterday he would not sit together with Lieberman in a coalition.) I was not discussing Lieberman, only an idea that preceded Lieberman. The fact that he came to adopt it makes it harder to swallow, but it doesn't mean that the idea itself is all bad. Realistically, I only see an agreement close to the Geneva Accords as feasible. I am waiting for the 2010 elections in Israel. In the meantime, I will support any government that removes settlers from some areas.
