"I criticise Israel because it is Israel that concerns me. I know you find that impossibile to believe but it does, more than any other country and I hold it to account. I will not defend her indefensible actions simply because I am a Jew and therefore feel that Israel must be defended in all and every circumstance. And you are right, proud zionist, I do not find one, not a single aspect of this odious occupation that is praiseworthy or should not be condemned." Yaakov, Israel is in a state of war against Palestinian terror and Islamic fundamentalism and has been since '48. You claim to be "concerned about Israel, so you manifest your concern by siding with Israel's enemies (by constantly criticizing and delegitimizing Israel) and those who would see Israel destroyed? Doesn't make much sense. I think Israel makes you feel guilty and you think it challenges and weakens your "liberal" credentials. The Jewish world is now divided into "Good Jews" and "Bad Jews." "Good Jews" rush to condemn Israel, Judaism and the "Bad Jews" at every turn in order to show their liberal friends how open-minded they are. This conflict is about a lot more than the "occupation." You never answer this point: why were Arab wars lauched '48, '67 before any occupation, Yaakov?
