Sarkozy is not Richelieu...indeed. However, civic integration of Muslims in France is being done not bad. Most Muslims in France are secularized and most aprove the ban on burkas in the streets and "hijab"in class. Indeed a non multicultural France is performing much better in integration that a multicultural Britain. Holland which was multicultural is copying the French model. The appeasing European left is losing ground. The rules of the game are that Napoleons style liberal nationalists as Sarkozy are disputing the control of the polity to the radical right. The success of the liberal right will diminsh the power of the radical right. This is the debate. Merkel already have noted. The end of multiculturalism in Europe. This is steady and increasing process, and Muslims are learning to live with it. Only the damn British can consider accept Sharia courts as legitimate. In the rest of Europe Quaradawy prescription wont be accepted.
