"And yet, dear Mr. Abbas, I think you don’t have a choice." Of course he does. Scrap the two state solution and begin the long overdue campaign for a single democratic state. Naturally, this is going to take a long time of slowly mounting international pressure on Israel. It took decades to bring down Apartheid South Africa in this fashion. But it is a better long-term strategy than doing as Mr. Strenger would have it and agree to a crippled Bantustan now in the futile hope that at some point in the future this will be transformed into a proper state. Mr. Strenger, and the whole Israeli 'peace camp' have failed miserably. They have not done anything to stop the everr-more entrenched occupation and colonization of the West Bank and therefore made the 2SS impossible. And now, instead of admitting these failures, Mr. Strenger recommends to Mr. Abbas bearing their consequences. Pathetic.
