For President George Bush to have " personally signed off on a visa " for the former Iranian President Khatami to speak in the U.S. - this is a real surprise. I've always advocated consistent dialogue with the Iranians. Indeed, Khatami's remarks in the States have been more conciliatory towards Israel and the West. Let's hope this continues.
