This guy has done us all a favour. Many have misused the whole Hannukah holiday to the point where you have football teams (i.e. secular ideoligy) in Israel called Maccabi Tel Aviv or Macabi Haifa. (The Hasmonean fighters called themselves by this name, an acynom for alligenece with G-d) The conflict that existed then was very much a religious-secular fight. It beggers belief how the secular in israel and indeed amongst Jews worldwide celebrate the triumph of Orthodoxy over Hellensim or secularism?
