Bibi talks NeoCon bravado and promises budget cuts and tax cuts. But a lower budget is impossible and inconsistent with an aggressive military posture. Defense is the most expensive item in the budget, especially when weapons development and high tech systems are concerned. So Bibi can switch from real defense needs of building up the basics--the IDF reserves--and 'hollowing out' the IDF as he did. So Bibi can shift the burden from those most able to pay and seek to destroy the social welfarwe net with increasing poverty as he did. But can the Israelis ever be so easily fooled again?
