Hello Watcher (this is the same watcher from LibertyForum?) I agree that Israeli casulties/wounded deserve more sympathy internationally, though the fatigue of seeing dead/dying/depressed people in the news every day is a contributry factor. Because Israel is in a culturally 'over-dog' position it will always be given less slack if a conflict is percieved to be of mutual Israeli/Arabist fault. No one agrees with a terrorist, but there is always a great worry when a state employs terrorist-like tactics. Indeed you say yourself "the IDF always loses the element of surprise by telling civilians that their house is about to be bombed?" - my question would be why the hell do you need to bomb civilian houses (I know terrorists may be hiding there but they may also not be - Israel needs to show greater Justice in War (jus ad bello?) to gain support from Europe in particular).
