With the 48 hour aerial "cease fire", wait to see whether the Hezbollah missles stop hitting northern Israel. If Hezbollah is still shooting at Israel during the "ceasefire" during which the IDF showed restraint, then international pressure will be exerted on Hezbollah. More simply, Israel is never going to have world opinion on its side as long as the Arabs have oil, so Israel's only international concern should be its support from the United States. Hezbollah may have gained new fighters, but it also has to take care of the thousands of Shia displaced by the war. It is equally foolish to accept the momentary "conventional wisdom" that if Hezbollah doesn't lose, it wins.
