Interesting that with Iran, he is bending over backwards to "engage" Iran (re Turkey/Brazil plan), and use its leverage to resolve the conflict. With isreal, he madeno such effort - want straight to confrontation with perez, and then sent the flotilla (by your admission)... You are correct, actions are a better indication of where Erdogan is heading than words. Looking at the big picture, given his increasing ties with Iran, his undermining the secular army by slowly replacing top officials with islamists, his increasing confrontational tone with the US/EU, this clearly speaks louder about the new alliance he forging than his (kind pitiful) assurances to the contrary.
