I object to your article referring to the way I pray as 'unconventional'. What exactly is unconventional about praying in a quorum wearing a tallit? There is an explicit commandment in the Torah to wear tzitzit - it's not exactly an unknown practice. Hundreds of thousands of men and women were praying on Rosh Hodesh morning exactly the way I was. The only unconventional thing here is that a Democratic state that prides itself on religious freedom for all - interrupted my prayer and hauled me off to the police station to be interrogated, fingerprinted and photographed like a criminal.
