I can't agree with this. In my opinion, it's clear at this point that in-general, women make BETTER Engineers than men, in general. At least at the "high levels." They certainly can be very good physicians of all sorts, mathematicians, physicists, chemists, astronauts etc. Just as in these disciplines, chess is of course a highly "analytical" and "logical" game. So i.m.o. one must look elsewhere for the difference. Occam's razor seems to apply here - differences in education, especially early education. Seems to me the only solution is to "throw them into the frey" and let them have at it - many will step up to the "extra" challenge.
