I'm all for woman's rights but something doesn't sit well with me w this Woman of the Wall business. They are obviously not Haredi women but want to take on their traditions, only by blatantly disrespecting them in a holy place of worship. They seem more intent on making a statement then their actual desire to pray. In the end of the day its between you and G-d not a show for everyone else. Dawning traditional mens prayer shawls and singing in front of men is not traditional for relig folks and If you don't agree then fine but do whatever you want in your own place but please be respectful of others customs and traditions. These woman would not likely go to a Muslim holy site and start singing the Shma Yisrael, so why can't they respect religious Jews as well... Oh yea because they actually have the freedom in Israel to make a stink about everything. Israel has enough problems, and as a woman I can say this does not help Israel but maybe only helps these woman in stroking their own egos.
