This is a union matter the Histadrut not a national or major political one. Sad fact is the Histadrut are to powerful and they belong in another era of Israel's history when the country was socialist and government was responsible for just about everything. They haven't caught onto the fact we now live in a global economy and Israel is abandoning socialism in favor of a free market and its time for the Histadrut to either accept that and change their attitudes to fit in with the way business works in the 21st century or they need to disband totally but the fact is this model of Histadrut from the countries socialist past cannot be allowed to continue.
