El Baradei is correct in pointing at Iraq as an example of the disastrous potential of a rush to judgement. The overall outcome of the Iraq war, if totalled today, is death, destruction and economic ruin in varying degrees for all participants. Only George Bush thinks that it's working out well there. There is no possible benefit to anyone other than weapons dealers in provoking a war with Iran and, by consequence, her powerful sponsors. The likelihood of nuclear exchange if the US and Russia jump in is frighteningly high; a probable World War III, and the end of human civilization. Careless, provocative language and political posturing is mostly bluff and bluster, but the potential for global disaster is very real and should not be toyed with by responsible leaders or their envoys.
