It was not Olmert's right to accept it. The government had already rejected it because it is a totally 1 sided deal WHAT ARABS WANT ARABS GET NOTHING TO NEGOTIATE. What kind of a deal is that for Israel? This plan was accept it in full dont try get us to compromise on a single issue or the offer is off the table ( take it or leave it ) If we negotiate at least we can come out of it with something even if its not everything we want do it this way we lose everything. Any peace deal must be a NEGOTIATED one and that means Israel is not happy with the result and the arabs are not happy with the result but both grudgingly accept and hate it. The arab spring has also shown how dangerous it can be to give up tactically important land like the Golan & Sinai esepcially when the region is so unstable which it is thanks to the arab spring now all the strong men are falling.
