Since the end of WWII, the U.S. has been in the best position of any political-territorial community since the dawn of civilization to be a positive force in international relations. Those who chartered the course of U.S. domestic and foreign policy turned America into a functioning Empire, its moral impact totally out of step with the core values of the American Constitution. One principal cause of this decline in values is the surrender of state power (the power belonging to the people) to the moneyed class---in America only money talks, and the politicians only hear the sound of money. What is used to strip the average American of his/her political power is the so-called market phenomenon, globalization. How has the U.S. government, particularly since the Presidency of Ronald Reagan, functioned on behalf of the American people? Badly. Globalization is the idea of “free trade,” free of a living family income, free of workplace safety rules, free of labor unions, free of environmental protection laws, free of universal health care. An empire is toothless without a dependable fighting force and so where is the creativity of the American people focused? On the creation of WMDs and a standing fighting force engaged in unending wars. Therefore, under the theory of globalization and “full spectrum dominance,” the American people and the people of the West are being forced to live in a feudal-like society where every benefit of citizenship is not determined by the people, but by the whims of those who through subterfuge have acquired the power to manipulate both the government, and through the government the people. This situation, the combinations of factors mentioned above, is what is causing universal unrest and the probability of a nuclear exchange down the pike.
