Demolishing houses in order to build fortresses for settlers in the middle of closely built up areas might have something to do with it. Or perhaps the fact that nothing may be allowed to ruin Sukkot for us, consequently the West Bankers are sealed in for the duration of the week and the police is out in force to restrain those whose movements the law cannot curtail without justification? Oh my, it never changes. Up the ante and success will always be guaranteed.
