The Arab world with few exceptions is the well-established home of antisemitism. Mein Kamph and the Protocols of the Elders of Zion are freely and openly available anywhere in the Arab world, Arab newspapers constantly feature anti-semitic (not just anti-Israel) articles and show vile anti-semitic cartoon caricatures of Jews with hooked noses and legal tender coming out of every orifice of their bodies. The Algerian minister is merely reflecting - very accurately I might add - the Arab world's mindset when it comes to Jews. At least he's honest. The French government should react with outrage to this insult from this high-ranking Algerian official and should not let it pass without an explanation and apology from Algeria's president. Now that France has a new government much more friendlier to Israel than the previous one we can expect similar comments in future emanating from the Arab world and of course Iran.
