just a simple answer would be sympaty if nothing more. (but ofcourse there are a lot more) all the muslim world have sympahty to the palestinian cause (which you can understand muslim to muslim bases) and this is a very sensetive subject for those muslim belivers in those muslim countries and unfortunately its very easy to direct this sensetivty to political areas. Just like in Turkey a long friendship has had a big damaged since the Flotila. To understand what is he talking about (Why on earth would what happens in israel matter to the rest of the arab world,) you best look to Turkey exsample. Do you think Flotila was only one off thing? In Turkey (as well as in the other muslim countries) Palestinian cause has always being in the muslim extremists agenda and they will use this untill they will reach their goals. In Turkey with Israels help they did improve their goal a lot since the Flotila on the reasarches shows about %64 of Turkish people do not like Israel, while this is was arround %30ish... Now lets look at Egypt exsample, since the uprising Muslim Brotherhood made a lot of comments about Israel and palestinian issue, even Netanyahu was complening about Egypt FM's talk about Israel. So there is another pretty big country who are almost ready to have maybe bigger problems with Israel (which hope not). So to understand what he is actually talking about or what on the Earth would that palestine thing be a interest to other muslim or arab countries you just simply have to take your blinkers off..
